Malagasy Hydrocarbons Office

The Malagasy Hydrocarbons Office (OMH) is a body under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy, Water and Hydrocarbons, responsible for regulating activities in the downstream petroleum sector throughout the territory of the Republic.The OMH was created in 1999 by Decree No. 99-279 of April 21, 1999, implementing Law No. 99-010 of April 17, 1999 governing the downstream petroleum sector; it is a Public Industrial and Commercial Establishment (EPIC) with legal personality and administrative and financial autonomy.
