Data cited at: https://data.gov.om/OMNTAC2016 This Data set highlights the most important indicators of national accounts, notably gross domestic product (GDP), production account, commodities and services account, domestic and national savings, and gross fixed capital formation. The Sultanate applies the new system of National Accounts (SNA) approved by the United Nations Economic and Social Council in mid-1993 after being presented by the United Nations Bureau of Statistics. Application of the system in the Sultanate was in two stages: the first included the preparation of the National Accounts series for the period 1980-1997 for Production Accounts and Generation of Income Accounts according to the international recommendations. The second stage started directly after the publication of the updated results of the first stage. During this stage, data were classified and coded according to the classifications stated in the SNA. The Current Accounts and Capital Accounts were constructed according to institutional sectors for 1998- 2006, followed by the preparation and construction of Accounts of the Matrix of Supply and Use Tables and the Integrated Economic Accounts (IEA).

This section reviews statistical data pertaining to the public finance and reflects details of government revenue and expenditure. Government revenue in this section is classified by revenue item, government units in the General Budget, and function. Expenditure data are classified, according to their nature, into current and development. These are further classified ( into Recurrent and Development Expenditure) by government units in the budget or the type of expenditure, function, and sector.

يغطي هذا القسم البيانات الاحصائية المتصلة بأنتاج واستخدامات كل من النفط الخام والغاز الطبيعي والمعادن الاخرى . وتعكس بيانات النفط الخام كمية الانتاج والكميات المصدرة موزعة حسب المنشأة المنتجة والكميات المباعة الي مصفاة نفط عمان. اضافة الي ذلك تعكس هذة البيانات الصادرات من النفط الخام حسب الدول المستوردة .كما تشمل بيانات مصفاة نفط عمان مثل انتاج ومبيعات هذة المنشأة مفصلة حسب نوع المنتج . ويضم هذا القسم بيانات لكميات واسعار المواد البترولية الموزعة محليا مفصلة حسب نوع المنتج والمحافظة - وتعكس ايضا بيانات الغاز الطبيعي الكميات المنتجة حسب النوع والاستخدامات . اما بيانات المعادن الاخرى فهى تختص بتناول قيمة وكمية مبيعات وصادرات شركة عمان للتعدين مفصلة حسب المنتج وأهم الدول المستوردة

يستعرض هذا القطاع البيانات المتعلقة بالعمالة وخصائصها في القطاع الحكومي والخاص في السلطنة، كما يحتوي على بيانات الباحثين عن عمل حسب الفئات العمرية والمستوى التعليمي وتوزيعها على المحافظات في السلطنة.
