South Dakota Department of Revenue

The focus of South Dakota Department of Revenue is to serve South Dakotans and to support government services. The department do that by collecting taxes, supporting motor vehicle requirements, and regulating the gaming industry and state’s lottery to raise revenue for important programs. This is accomplished by providing taxpayers with current and complete information, education programs, and up-to-date technology to support tax filings, payments and motor vehicle registration.
