Central Bank of Djibouti

In the aftermath of national independence, the Order of 3 December 1977 complemented by the Decree 79030 of 18 April 1979 on its statute, established the National Bank of Djibouti. In 2000, the Bank changed its name to the Central Bank of Djibouti. The first creation of texts of the Central Bank of Djibouti, assignaient to it of order assignments sovereign, which essentially quartered in the issuance of the national currency. With the development of the national economy, the Central Bank has seen its mission expand to become the supervisory institution to supervise and accompany the financial activities in the country.
